Demonstration of a new packaging-integrated oxygen sensor. The sensor prototype was inserted in to a vacuum bag together with polyethylene foam sample mimicking a food product. 60 sec of vacuum was applied. The measurement has been done immediately after the bag was sealed and damaged. The sensor measures absolute amount of oxygen molecules inside the package. It can be used to remove leaking packages from the supply chain.
