Visit from the Trade Minister of Singapore Mr. Chan Chun Sing
December 26, 2019
“I recently visited local precision engineering company Moveon which specialises in the design and manufacture of optics and optoelectronics components. I was very encouraged to see how the SME is expanding rapidly, and innovating constantly to stay ahead.
By leveraging R&D to develop cutting-edge processes and technologies, Moveon is looking to diversify its business portfolio into emerging sectors, and I’m glad that Moveon has also worked with Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) to co-develop and adopt new technologies aligned to evolving industry needs.
The government will continue to work in partnership with our companies to enable them to seize new opportunities and remain competitive. I wish Moveon all the best as they continue to grow their global footprint.” – Mr. CCS
